Contra Rebirth Coming To WiiWare, May 12th

It looks like Konami are bringing a brand new game in the Contra series to WiiWare soon. In fact very soon, the game is said to be ready May 12th in Japan at the bargain price of 1000 Nintendo points.

According to the official website the game will feature 2 player co-op like the original did, which will likely be local.

Konami have not announced a western release yet for Contra Rebirth yet but our crystal balls are convinced it wont be long until we get our share of this classic run-and-gun shooter.
