‘Game & Watch’ Coming To DSiWare

Nintendo have announced that their old ‘Game & Watch‘ titles will be releasing on DSiWare in Japan soon. If you’re not familiar with Game & Watch, check part 1 of our Nintendo History. They were the first handheld games ever made by the company from 1980 to the early 1990′s and sported very simple LCD animations.

Starting next week, July 15th, Japan will get four out of the first five Game & Watch ever made – ‘Ball’, ‘Flagman‘, ‘Vermin‘ and ‘Judge‘. Then to follow will be:

• Chef (July 29th)
• Donkey Kong Jr. August)
• Helmet (July 29th)
• Manhole (August)
• Mario’s Cement Factory (August)

Each title will only set you back 200 Nintendo points but we are still waiting for news of these coming to the west.

Surely it will happen, eh Nintendo?
