Iwata Confirms Wii Video Service Outside Of Japan

Nintendo President, Satoru Iwata, yesterday announced in a video interview that the new video on demand service for Wii – Wii-no-Ma – will indeed be launched outside of Japan in the future. Head inside to see what Iwata has to say on the matter.

The service is launching today in Japan, though plans are already underway to expand the service to overseas markets:

“Wii-no-Ma service is available only in Japan at the start, but the overseas deployment is under planning in the future.” Said Iwata.

Though it was always highly likely that this service would see release in the west, it’s nice to have a confirmation from the big man himself.
