Nintendo Highlights Top Software Sales

The latest financial report from Nintendo earlier today gave hardware shipment figures to date worldwide, but how is their software performing? As you would expect, very well. Nintendo chose to disclose software sales to date of seven key titles and top of the pile is ‘Wii Sports Resort‘ with 13.58 million copies sold. Surely then, that is a good sign that more Wii games of the future will support Wii MotionPlus? Let’s hope so.

Pokemon HeartGold & SoulSilver – 3.74 million
Tomodachi Collection – 2.74 million
Pokemon Platinum Version – 3.1 million
The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks – 3.45 million

Nintendo Wii

New Super Mario Bros. Wii – 10.55 million
Wii Fit Plus – 10.16 million
Wii Sports Resort – 13.58 million
