Reggie Promises A Stronger E3 Showing in 2009

After Nintendo disappointed many fans with the lack of exciting news at last years E3 trade show, NOA head honcho – Reggie Fils-Aime has promised a stronger showing at this years show between 2nd – 4th June. Last year core gamers felt particularly short changed due to Nintendo’s insistence of showing mainly casual games. So what can we expect from them this year?
Fils-Aime explains:
“We haven’t announced a launch date [for The Legend Of Zelda: Spirit Tracks], maybe we’ll do that at E3. You know, everyone wants to know what we’re going to announce at E3 and my answer is, come to E3 and you’ll see.
From Nintendo’s perspective, we always go into E3 with a very high bar wanting to satisfy not only the core fans but also ourselves. We’re hoping to do a much better job this year. You’ll have to see for yourself.”
Ok so Reggie is holding his hand close to his chest but at least the big N seem confident of this years showing. Only time tell so stay with Nin-ten-do.com for the latest pre-show and live announcements.
