Resident Evil Archives In June For Wii

Capcom have said that the Wii re-re-make of Resident Evil will be released in June, the first of two Resi re-makes for the console. Though it is a classic game, how many times do Capcom think people want to re-play it? I mean there is ‘cashing in’ and there is ‘cashing in‘.

I know many millions will buy it and there must even be a couple of people left that have not played it at all (surely not?) but I for one will give this a miss after playing it on Playstation, Gamecube and DS. Even the 10 alternative endings are not enticing me!

It certainly looks good though and the budget price make it a worthwhile purchase. The Gamecube version that this is a re-release of, included new rooms, items and monsters that were not included in the 1996 PlayStation original.

(Note to Capcom – I would bite your hand off for a proper new Resi game for Wii – no, not an on-rails shooter!)
