Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles Wii Footage

Thanks to IGN, we have some new gory footage of Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles, developed by Capcom.

The sequel to Umbrella Chronicles follows the events of Resident Evil 2, on the streets of Raccoon City. Once again Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield are trying to survive the virus outbreak and find out what’s going on. Along the way you will encounter many familiar faces from the original story.

Capcom promise a relentless and immersive experience with this latests installment. Let’s hope they live up to it!

Matt Wales from IGn had this to say about the game:

“Despite forum fears, it does seem that Capcom’s intent on delivering an experience that offers genuine appeal to Resi fans, light-gun game or otherwise. While certain aspects – including locations, story elements and specific characters – are still officially under wraps, Capcom assures there will be plenty of nods to the classic series. Indeed, the game’s trailer provided glimpses of familiar enemies, including everyone’s favourite big bad Tyrant.”
