Well Scribblenauts 2 is now officially Super Scribblenauts as we had already heard. I was kind of hoping that this would be a 3DS game though! I wouldn’t be surprised to see a 3DS version further down the line though…
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announces Super Scribblenauts as the title for its follow-up to the groundbreaking hit video game. In the first game, players used their imagination to write any word to bring that object to life and use it to solve puzzles. The original Scribblenauts for Nintendo DS has sold more than 1.1 million units worldwide since its launch in September 2009.

5th Cell, the developers behind Scribblnauts have said they realise the original game’s controls were broken and that is something they intend to fix for the sequel, Super Scribblenauts:
“Yes, we knew the controls had issues but frankly, we just ran out of time to fix them. When you’re making a game so unique the focus needs to be on those features and when the time is up you go out with what you have. Getting another year and starting with the core base of the original game will really help us nail down all of the issues that people had.” – Scribblenauts creator Jeremiah Slaczk

5th Cell, makers of last years DS hit “Scribblenauts” have gone on record to say that a Wii version could be likely. It all depends if the second title sells well enough and if fans want it to happen. So make yourself heard! Send them an email now!
“I think a Wii version could happen. It’s all about the fans – if the fans speak up and continue to buy and play the second one like they did the first one, I don’t see why we couldn’t make a case for a Wii version.” Scribblenauts creative director Jeremiah Slaczka
