Peter Moore has worked his magic at EA since arriving from Microsoft over a year ago. Many of EA Sports annual updates were becoming stagnant and not really moving forward, they were losing their way a little.
Moore has managed to rectify that and bought a fresh approach to FIFA, Tiger Woods, Madden and Grand Slam Tennis with new art direction, All-Star play and Wii MotionPlus support to name a few changes.
In a recent interview, the likeable executive had a few things to say about the Wii and their success so far on the console.
Here is a bit of a rareity. New games coming earlier than their original release date! Both EA Sports titles Tiger Woods 10 and Grand Slam Tennis will now be releasing in North America on June 8th. Ok, so that’s only a week earlier but it’s better than being late!
Tiger and Tennis take advantage of the new Wii MotionPlus wiimote peripheral offering one to one motion control and the games now coincide with the release of the peripheral.

EA showcase Madden NFL 10 again for the Wii with its new graphics and art direction, or as EA themselves put it “genre-defining art style.”
This years edition includes caricature-style footballers wih exaggerated defining features to help set it apart from the usual PS2-port-with-motion-control, the Wii has been getting. The new look is not just about new looking footballers though, EA state there is also a “new stylized broadcast presentation” and that “You’ll be hard pressed to find a pixel that hasn’t been touched in Madden NFL 10 for the Wii,” It’s good to see them put a little more effort in to this years title. Both Tiger Woods 2010 and Grand Slam Tennis will be bundled with Wii MotionPlus in Europe, EA said today. Tiger will also get a bundle in North America, though strangely Grand Slam Tennis will not in the region. The U.K. will pay £49.99 and the U.S. $59.99.
