Swedish developers ‘A Different Game’ are bringing their popular mobile game ‘Ghostwire’ to DSi and the first footage is above courtesy of those lovely people at Kotaku.
As you can see, the game involves you looking for spirits using your current location with the help of the DSi’s cameras and microphone. Once you find the ghosts, you document them and find out why they haunt our world. They can also give you riddles to solve but ultimately your aim is to help them find peace.
Anders Bergman, the lead game designer for Ghostwire says that “The Nintendo DSi platform is perfect for this game. It allows us to enhance the integrated real-world experience with the combination of camera, microphone and touch screen.”
Spooky!

Swedish developers ‘A Different Game’ have announced that they are bringing their popular mobile phone game ‘Ghostwire’ to DSiWare.
The game utilises the DSi’s camera to scan your home (or wherever you are playing) to use as the games background. When you locate some spirits, it is your job to find out why they are haunting you and try to make peace with them.
It seems like a unique idea for a game by using the camera on the DSi and we hope more developers follow suit with innovative ways of using the new DSi’s feature.
