Cambridge, Mass. – June 7, 2010 – Harmonix and MTV Games today announced that rock legend Ozzy Osbourne, will make his Rock Band debut June 15 with a six pack of songs in the Rock Band Music Store of downloadable content for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and Wii™.
“It’s great to bring my songs to Rock Band, especially material from the new album, Scream,” said Ozzy Osbourne. “I hope Rock Band players around the world are ready to have their living rooms invaded by me!”
If The Beatles aren’t your thing, then maybe Van Halen is. If that’s you then you might want to hit the link to find out if your favourite song has made the list in the upcoming Van Halen-fied Guitar Hero. Personally I’d rather wait for Guitar Hero 5.
Is anyone else starting to lose count of the number of Guitar Hero’s Harmonix are releasing? No, just me then.
GH:VH is set for a December release.
Getting ready to suck hours away from our lives once again is the latest ‘Rock Band: The Beatles’. We’ve not seen much of the game since E3 but now we have some juicy trailers of the fabulous four doing their stuff.
You know what to expect, but watch them anyway! More after the break.

The vast majority of tunes and mixes that will be available on Harmonix’s ‘DJ Hero‘ so far are still unkown, however we do know about a quarter of them so head inside if you fancy having a look.
Additionally we know that 50 Cent, Daft Punk, Jackon 5, The Killers, Queen and Rihanna will also be adding to the roster but the actual titles are still not clear.

A track listing for The Beatles: Rock Band game is said to have been uncovered from the mighty grasp of Harmonix HQ.
While this should be filed under ‘rumour’ for now, surely some of, if not all of the tracks could end up in the final game. Harmonix are unlikely to confirm this for a while but in the mean time keep those vocal chords exercised!

Check the debut video of Rock Band: Beatles that was first shown at the Microsoft E3 conference yesterday.
The game supports multi-instruments, including 3 mics and is scheduled for Wii/PS3/Xbox 360 later this year.
If you’ve played Guitar Hero to death and fancy something a little different, then spinning some decks might be for you. The turntable peripheral was shown off recently but we have been short on actual gameplay footage, until now.
No doubt this game will be huge when it’s released later in the year for all major consoles.

We have the entire band list for Guitar Hero 5 inside. It’s very impressive by anyone’s standards and also completely diverse with bands ranging from Dire Straits to Beastie Boys and Elton John to Megadeath.
I’m sure Guitar Hero purists will be excited by the new release but is there enough here for those that have already bought countless versions? Probably.
