“Nice work on getting people pumped! But, unfortunately, we had limited quantities of the [Monster Hunter Tri] demo (as was stated in the “Rewards” section). So since we’ve reached our limit, we removed the icon for now. To make sure others get the demo, it would be best to direct them to a GameStop store. Keep your eyes peeled though, as we have another item for the “Rewards” section in the coming weeks.” – Capcom employee
Not so good news for European gamers unfortunately as they are once again feeling the end of the shaft by not getting the demo at all! Capcom try to explain this below and while the US version of the demo wouldn’t work in PAL consoles, a PAL version would. No excuse Capcom.
“To clarify things, the demo of Monster Hunter 3 will not be available to players outside the United States and Canada. For a simple reason, this demo is not playable on the Nintendo Wii from other regions. ” – Capcom statement
Meanwhile Christian Svensson from Capcom have stated the game should see a massive marketing push for its release. See what he has to say after the jump. Read more…

If you need reminding of just how gorgoeus Capcom’s ‘Monster Hunter 3′ is, then look no further than this video.
The game was recently slated for release in the west in April along with Classic Controller Pro bundles and it received the highest accolade review score of 40/40 from Famitsu.
Don’t know about you but I still find that there’s something funny about how the players character runs when running towards the screen. Is it just me that finds this funny? Oh… ok then!
Capcom have announced that their top selling franchise in Japan has a release date in Europe - April. That’s as specific as it gets but at least you guys now know roughly when you can get your grubby hands on it. Also confirmed is the inclusion of support for Wii Speak and the game will be coming in various bundles. Of course the game sold game-only but in addition there will be two special bundles. The first one “containing a black Classic Controller Pro and one which contains Wii Speak accessory and a black Classic Controller Pro”.
This news comes after Capcom announced similar bundles for North America, so it won’t be long before we’re all be hunting together!
Dragon Quest IX on DS became the tenth game of all time to receive a perfect score of 40/40 from Japanese gaming bible Famitsu last month. That figure is now eleven as four reviewers have just awarded Wii sword-a-thon ‘Monster Hunter 3 (Tri)‘ 10, 10, 10 and 10 too.
Out of interest the first game ever to score a maximum with Famitsu was ‘Zelda: Ocarina Of Time‘ way back in 1998 so they have averaged a 40/40 score once a year. Nintendo having a perfect score on both of their consoles so far this year is good going. Let’s hope there’s more to come!
Over to Famitsu:
“The maps and monsters have been completely remade, making things fresh … The classic Monster Hunter feel grabs you the more you play. Old and new mix equally here, and it’s been refined, deepened, and brought to unimaginable heights.”
We’ve seen a lot of bad quality footage of Monster Hunter 3 (Tri) so far, so it’s about time we had some good quality, you agree? Good, then get watching!
It feels like we have seen the whole of this game before its even been released, there’s been so many screens and videos. Even so it’s looking atmospheric and graphically tasty!
Here’s some new footage of the eagerly awaited Monster Hunter 3 (Tri) from Capcom. This import pview shows much clearer graphics than the footage of the demo we saw last week.
This is a monster title (excuse the pun) for the Wii, especially in Japan where this series is very big. It will be interesting to see whether the game can re-invigorate the Wii’s fortune in the region where in recent months the Wii has been outsold by the PS3.
