Nintendo Refreshes the Dog Days of Summer with Upcoming Cool GamesDates Announced for New Kirby, Donkey Kong and Pokémon Games
REDMOND, Wash.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– The summer is heating up, which means it’s a great time for Nintendo to announce some of the cool games it will have available in the coming months for its Wii™ home console and portable Nintendo DS™ family of systems.

Even though Monster Hunter Tri sold over a million, it couldn’t help Capcom’s profits fall by over 70%. Interestingly the developers have 16 games planned for DS and 6 for Wii. Good news.

I think Nintendo realised that their first party software line-up over the last 18 months has been weak and comments echoing that were forthcoming from Satoru Iwata late last year. It looks like he and his company are working hard to rectify that this year.

Today Nintendo are outlining their major releases across the world for the rest of this year and to go with these announcements comes one of the longest press releases of all time… ever!
Yesterday we posted an early list of games to be released in Quarter 1 this year, now Nintendo of Europe have sent the official list, with many games having specific dates and confirmation of the DSi XL for March 5th.
