New footage for ‘Sonic & Sega: All Stars Racing‘ shows the inevitable comparisons to ‘Mario Kart‘ and also five reasons why the commentator things this will better Nintendo’s effort. They could be onto something with the addition of DLC and we like the look of the challenges stolen from last generations ‘Outrun‘ but will the overall package cross the line before Mario? We’ll hold judgement until we get some proper play time with the game.

Sega have revealed a Mario Kart style game featuring Sonic and Co. burning rubber in their own customizable vehicles.
Set for release early 2010 for Wii, DS, PS3 and Xbox 360, the game will take us racing in “visually rich and varied universes of Sonic and SEGA“. Not only that but “each character has a specific All Star move – such as Super Sonic, Banana Blitz and Tails Tornado – that allows a quick way for competitors to get back into the race!” Sound familiar?
