Nintendo have let loose that ‘New Super Mario Bros. Wii‘ which released in Japan December 3rd 2009 has become the fastest selling Wii game to hit the 3 million sold barrier. The game sold 3,002,753 units in seven weeks and beat bohemoths ‘Wii Sports‘, ‘Mario Kart Wii‘ and ‘Wii Fit‘ to the milestone.

Will it have the legs to sell more than ‘Wii Fit‘ and ‘Wii Sports‘ overall? Only time will tell…
