The Grudge

1

The Wii has some great looking horror titles heading its way with ‘The Calling‘, Cursed Mountain and Silent Hill. However we’re most looking forward to ‘Ju-on: The Grudge’ to get our scares and the trailer above shows how atmospheric the game is promising to be. We can’t wait to play it late at night with the lights out!

Ju-On The Grudge

The game previously known as ‘Feel’ is now officially named ‘Ju-On: The Grudge’, XSeed games announced today.

Ju-On: The Grudge is being described as a “Haunted House Simulator” in which the first priority of the game is to give instant scares! “The title is inspired by the Japanese classic horror movie, “JU-ON”, on which the American release of the hit horror film “The Grudge” was based upon.”

In the darkened games settings, players use the wiimote as a flashlight, while a second player can interact by pressing buttons to make in-game events happen immediately to the original player. Spooky!

The game is scheduled for an October 2009 release in the states.

Full press release after the jump if you want to know more. Read more on ‘Feel’ Now Called Ju-On: The Grudge…

AQ Interactive have shown off their Wii horror game – Feel – being made in collaboration with Takashi Shimizu, the Japanese director of The Grudge (Ju-on).

The game is loosley based on Shimizu’s famous Ju-on film series and features the same atmospheric theme and spooky little ghost kids! Also expect motion controls to add to the experience.

Feel will be giving Japanese gamers nightmares this summer, but no word yet on a western release but you will hear more here as soon as we do.
