This is a shame as TrackMania for Wii and TrackMania Turbo on DS was due for imminent release, but the games have now been delayed until the end of 2010. If this delay is to improve the final game then we’re all for that!
“We made the announcement to the major retailers about the Trackmania delay, I’m not sure why that hasn’t been changed. The game has been delayed until December…” – Dreamcatcher Interactive’s Michael Mota.

If there is one thing I would like on my Nintendo consoles is some totally midblowing racing games. Ok there’s some good titles like “ExciteTruck” and “Mario Kart” but there has been a lack of good quality arcade or simulation racing games on Nintendo consoles for ages in my opinion.
Hopefully “Trackmania Wii” is going to change that and the developers are pretty confident that their game pushes the racing genre further than any other title so far.
“Trackmania is a much more skill-based racing game, rewarding players who master the vehicles and the tracks. Without wanting to belittle the achievements of the team who made Wheelspin, I feel that we’ve got a game that pushes, physics and gameplay further than any other racing title on the Wii.” – Trackmania producer Dan Fletcher
