E3 is a bit like Xmas, you spend so long waiting for it, then it’s over in a flash! At least it didn’t disappoint and Nintendo owned the show this year, thanks mainly due to 3DS.
Here are some of the main news stories, videos and other stuff from the show just in case you missed some!
Last week Ninty showed off the latest two new entries in the Wario Ware series, one for DS one for Wii. The first is shown in the video above which is “Wario Ware: Do It Yourself” for DS and then there’s “Wario Ware: DIY Showcase” on Wii. Both games give users the chance to create their own mini-games to upload to Nintendo who will then release them for other players if they’re good enough.
DS micro-games can be transferred to other DS players and the creations can also be played on the big screen too. With thousands of people submitting new challenges all the time it could mean you’ll never get bored of the never-ending updates. Great idea.
Even though Nintendo said that the new Zelda Wii should release this year, we wouldn’t be surprised to see the game end up delayed just like Twilight Princess, Wind Waker, Ocarina and so on did… If that is the case and you’re desperate for some action RPG on Wii, ‘Zangeki No Reginleiv‘ (expect a change of nae for the west!) could well tide us over until Link returns on his next quest.
We have two new videos (the second after the break) showing the games promise. At the moment the gameplay looksa little sparse but then these vids are only for demonstration. Fingers crossed that this turns out to be a decent alternative while we wait for Zelda.
Cing’s graphic adventure title ‘Hotel Dusk: Room 215′ released in 2007 and was very popular among many of you. So popular that since then the developers have been hard at work on the sequel, the title of which translates from Japanese to English as ‘Last Window: Midnight Promise’.
The game is set in LA a year after the original game with a whole not plot to unravel and is set or release in Japan this month. A western release should follow soon and we’ll let you know when it does.
Getting ready to suck hours away from our lives once again is the latest ‘Rock Band: The Beatles’. We’ve not seen much of the game since E3 but now we have some juicy trailers of the fabulous four doing their stuff.
You know what to expect, but watch them anyway! More after the break.
We recently posted some videos of the Archery, Swordplay, Golf, Frisbee and Power Cruising from the upcoming Wii Sports Resort and we now have some more showing Cycling, Sky Diving/Airplane, Basketball, Canoeing, Kendo and Wake Boarding.
To me this is looking much more varied than the original Wii Sports and with the accuracy of Wii MotionPlus it is sure to be crowned King of Wii sports games this summer.
