The North American publisher of Muramasa: The Demon Blade – XSeed – has announced that infact it will not be publishing the title in the U.S as previously thought. Though this is not good news for those anticipating the release of the game in the west, we imaine it will not be long before a replacement publisher steps up to the plate to release Vanillaware’s title overseas.
The game received critical acclaim in Japan and entered the Japanese charts in second position, however maybe XSeed have been panicked by the recent poor sales of ‘mature’ Wii and DS titles. After already hyping myself up for The Demon Blade; I am even more hyped now after reading IGN’s comments from their playtest.
