Nintendo have released a new HD trailer for “Metroid: Other M” following on from last weeks media summits where attendees were impressed by what they saw.
This Metroid title, co-developed by Nintendo and Team Ninja, focuses more on the story and life of Samus with the Galactic Federation than other Metroid’s have in the past and the clip above shows what we can expect of some of the cinematic FMV sequences of the game.
“Metroid: Other M” is out 27th June in North America and slated for a vague Quarter 3 in Europe.
Aussie Nintendo managed to swipe footage of their playtime with “Super Mario Galaxy 2” last week and were nice enough to share it with us. The video shows many of the demo levels that were available at the Nintendo media summit, including levels not seen in the videos from last week.
Check out the awesome tech for this DSiWare game called “Rittai Kakushi E Attakoreda“, heading for release in Japan (not word of it leaving Japan either, unfortunately). It uses the DSi camera to shift a 3D viewpoint when the console is moved and looks very cool.
Let’s hope other developers start using similar techniques as this could lead to some interesting game concepts.
As you know the DS is home to a massive line-up of awesome games from all genres. We reckon if it’s lacking in one area, that has to be scrolling ’schmups’ just like ‘Metal Torrent‘ here.
We loved ‘Nanostray‘ but this is looking every bit as good, if not better and reminds us a bit of cult classic ‘Ikaruga‘. Check out the eye-popping action above as this looks hardcore to the extreme!
Continuing their Art Style series, Nintendo have shown off a few more titles that fall under that category, one of them being ‘Art Style: Rotozoa‘ above. This looks like the perfect antidote to the hectic looking ‘Art Style: Light Trax‘ we posted earlier.
New footage has come out of the Nintendo summit today for ‘Sin & Punishment: Star Successor‘ on Wii and the action is looking as mental as the original, fans will be pleased to hear!
Check it out, hopefully we will have some higher quality video soon.
If you like your WiiWare games with a little bit of added crazy, then you may want to check out ‘Tomena Sanner‘.
The game has you running through levels to get to the finish line while jumping, kicking and doing all kinds of things on the way while building up combos. This is the latest and craziest WiiWare game from Japan since Namco’s ‘Muscle March‘ but it looks cool to us!
Keeping up with the theme today, which is gameplay videos, here is a new ‘Silent Hill: Shattered Memories‘ to spook you. Many are impressed with this one so far so keep an eye on it, (or maybe close your eyes depending how scared you are!)
