Time flies when you’re having fun spending your hard earned money downloading WiiWare games. I mean can you believe it’s been a year already since the Wii download service started? Oh, ok then, but it seems quick to me!

I think it would be fair to say WiiWare has been quite successful in its first year. Titles like World Of Goo, My Life As A King and Strongbad have entertained, while others have been somewhat lacking. However, the year coming looks to increase the game quality ten-fold. There are so many excellent looking games coming this year to WiiWare I can’t keep up. Games like LIT, Icarian: Kindred Spiritsa and Swords & Soldiers, to name a few.

It seems every day a new title is announced from a new developer, so surely the service is only going to mature and get better as time goes on.
