‘The Calling’ Officially Revealed By Famitsu

You may remember late last year video footage of a game titled ‘The Calling’ that was leaked onto the trusty old Internet, which was then quickly removed by Hudson’s PR agency. Up until now, the game has neither been confirmed or denied, in fact there has been no mention of it at all. However, Japanese gaming bible, Famitsu has officially revealed the project in its latest issue.

As you can see from the footage above, the game is a survival horror adventure which involves puzzle solving and scares rather than combat. Think ‘Ju-on‘, not ‘Resident Evil‘.

The game is currently 70% complete and there is no word yet on a release date.
