Ubisoft Announce New Ghost Recon For Wii

Ubisoft have announced that the Wii and DS will be getting some more ‘Ghost Recon‘ action sometime this year, which is good news after the console missed out on the last title, ‘Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter’.

Not much is known at this stage, however the game is well into development and is currently called ‘Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier’. The Wii version is being developed by a seperate studio than the high def console versions and apparantly according to Ubisoft, the game is taking “a different approach… created for the Wii population”. Let’s hope that doesn’t mean it’s another on-rails shooter!
