Virtua Tennis 2009 – Mimicking Reality

The blog of Sega Europe has added the above video of Virtua Tennis 2009 which releases in the next few months. The action of this Wii MotionPlus title looks very good indeed and the game-play merges in with the real video footage well.

It is just a shame that the Wii MotionPlus peripheral isn’t out for about 6 weeks after the release of this game! Still a little patience never hurt anyone!

I’m sure Sega are a little peeved at Nintendo for releasing the wiimote add-on a little later than they would like, however the game can be played ‘un-enhanced’ until the add-on is released.

I for one can’t wait to try this game out as the Wii deserves a deeper tennis game to Wii Sports in my opinion.
